In the April edition of Credit Control Journal, Arum has warned that while we are still recovering from the 2009 financial crisis another “I” of the storm is gathering its forces – the conundrum of Interest rates, Inflation, and their effect on Income, spending and ability to pay.
In Credit and Collections we are currently within the “I” of a storm. When we are once again hit with its full force the environment in which we operate will become more turbulent. Those businesses that are optimising their systems and processes, and embracing the benefits of Data and Analytics, will be best placed to weather the storm.

Credit Today Utilities Conference19-Sep-12
Arum is today pleased continue it’s sponsorship of the UK’s premier utilities and telco credit and collections event run by Credit Today.
Being held at the Connaught Rooms in London the impressive list of speakers includes Raymond Jack, former Managing Director of ScottishPower Energy Retail and now an Arum Principal Associate Consultant, who will be chairing the event.

Arum is pleased to able to support the Curling Team of one of our employees Stuart Walker in the 2012-13 season.
Stuart has previously represented Scotland in the annual 4 Nations competition (Scotland, England, Ireland & Wales) and his team plays at a good standard playing in the Reform Division 2, Braehead Superleague and will play in a number of Scottish Curling Tour events throughout the season.

Arum will also be running a communications skills workshop at the Conference that should help advisers in their conversations with clients. The EQ for Communications workshop will be a cut down version of Arum’s innovative course that has already been rolled out to a number of creditors.
