With 14 years consultancy experience during which he successfully delivered major collections and recovery consultancy and change, Aleks is now Managing Director of Arum. Aleks has been responsible for the development of Arum’s entire collections and recovery business and technical consultancy. As Principal Consultant he continues to provide business and project ‘healthchecks’, best practice and project turnaround consultancy, training and mentoring. His sector experience includes financial services, utilities and government.
Twice Arum Consultant of the year based on client feedback, our Lead Consultant Andy has completed successful collection assignments in a large number of major organisations across Europe. Formerly with Fair Isaac/London Bridge he now provides best practice consultancy and training to major organisations and is responsible for the development of Arum's much respected Debt Manager consultancy team. Andy is also the creator of our highly effective Debt Manager Systems Healthcheck.
Over 20 of Malcolm’s 35 years in the IT industry were spent in financial services. For over 10 years now he has successfully managed enterprise accounts and sold financial services solutions in the UK and overseas including continental Europe, the Middle East and South Africa. Malcolm has both a sales and engagement management role at Arum and is a member of the committee of the Independent Debt Manager User Forum.

Bob is a leading industry practitioner in Collections and Recovery with extensive experience over 30 years of centralisation, integration and transformation projects. He was the key integrator for Risk when Bank of Scotland disengaged their credit card book from Barclays. He subsequently transformed the Bank of Scotland Collection and Recovery environment by centralising all consumer debt onto one platform in a new division. He then took that division from a cost to a profit centre by insourcing consumer debt collection accounts from a variety of clients and industries.
After joining RBS Bob was heavily involved in the integration of Nat West delinquent accounts onto the RBS platform, subsequent development of performance initiatives and the roadmap to transform the resultant new operation. As Principal Consultant with IBM Global Business Services, Bob helped many clients cross sectors and borders to optimise and transform their collections operations.
An innovator in the business of collections, he led the first outbound dialler installations in the UK and the introduction of Behaviour Scoring into Collections. He is also a regular industry speaker in the UK and Europe.
Our senior collections designer/analyst in major collection assignments, Tanya has 10 years experience in collection data analysis and debt sale having completed successful assignments in major organisations across Europe and the Middle East including a new substantial telco collection site. Her experience includes being a collections manager and process designer and she also has experience of a number of collections systems including Tallyman and Debt Manager. Tanya’s role at Arum includes the promotion of industry best practice within the organisation.
Harry had a 37 year career in the insurance industry, mainly in marketing roles, and was responsible for the development and promotion of many niche products and markets. In his final role before retirement his responsibilities included the CRM system, E-commerce, brand management, corporate planning, research and internal and external communications. Harry joined Arum to assist the managing director with marketing and business management and his current role encompasses general accounting, company administration and secretarial matters.
Alistair is responsible for the technical direction of all software development undertaken by Arum, ensuring it complies with typical corporate IT standards and good development practice. He also has a key role in recruiting our team. Alistair has been working in IT for over 20 years in a number of sectors as a member of corporate IT teams, CTO and as an external consultant. Alistair has experience in web technologies, infrastructure and software development and has been involved with Rich Internet Applications since early 2004.
Dianne brings over 10 years experience including the financial services and utilities sectors where she has been an application software development Project Manager and implementation Project Manager for a large scale collections systems upgrade. An accredited Prince 2 Practitioner and former project manager for a collections system improvements programme in a major utility company, she was responsible there for the development of best practice requirements definition, support and change management processes. Dianne has also managed Rich Internet Application software development projects in financial services, media and government sectors.
John brings a vast range of experience from over 30 years in areas as diverse as offshore oil and gas, education, finance, business consulting, technology transfer and artificial intelligence. As Product Manager, John manages the development, delivery and support of our rich internet applications, a role he previously fulfilled at the investment portfolio planning specialists, decisionsdecisions and their parent company, the world-leading financial risk modelers, Barrie and Hibbert.
With over 7 years experience in the financial services sector, Nick brings substantial expertise in collections systems design and integration. He was a key developer for the implementation of a collections system in a UK bank and consultant on major regulatory driven collections and recovery design changes. Nick has also been a developer, senior developer and team lead for a UK bank software development team delivering Rich Internet Applications.
With over 10 years of software development experience, Chris is a highly skilled senior software engineer with a proven track record for delivery. Chris has lead software development teams building web and rich internet applications and his particular specialty is software development with Java.
Vince is a talented Rich Internet Application Developer with a proven track record of delivery in project managed environments. Throughout his career in IT, Vince’s focus has been on technical innovation in web technologies to enhance online C2B and B2B functionality and user experience. Vince has over 7 years experience in the software industry and specialises in Adobe Flex 3.
Alastair has worked in the financial sector for eight years in a variety of key IT roles. This includes work on enterprise web applications, performance tuning business critical batch processes, enhancing interfaces between multi-tiered systems and providing first class customer service support throughout. Accumulating into a great all-round developer with a wealth of technical experience to bring to the fore. If you include seven years technical expertise with Fair Isaacs Debt Manager system, it's clear to see why Alastair is a worthy addition to Arum's superb RIA team.
Providing operational process design and systems consultancy, Tony is a former Fair Isaac Debt Manager senior project manager and CACS implementation consultant with over 20 years collections and recovery consultancy experience in the UK, Europe, US and Central America. He recently delivered segmentation implementation consultancy for a UK utility and a best practice collections systems upgrade benefits study for a major UK bank. Tony is highly experienced at collections systems implementation as designer, consultant and project manager.
Rob's career in IT has been varied and highly successful with over 7 years experience of Debt Manager (DM) Consultancy both at London Bridge / Fair Isaac and laterally at Arum where he was selected to be a DM consultant at ScottishPower, a key client site. With Rob’s extensive practical experience he consistently achieves the high standard of excellence expected of all Arum consultants.
As an established member of Arum with over 5 years experience in collections and recoveries in the financial services and utilities sectors, Neil has worked on projects at ScottishPower, Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and most recently at International Personal Finance in Prague. Consistently achieving the high standard of excellence and commitment expected of Arum Consultants, Neil's flexibility, enthusiasm and easy going but professional manner makes him a highly effective team player.
Stuart has over 16 years experience within the collections and recoveries industry. He was employed as senior Debt Manger developer within a major UK bank and was involved in three Debt Manager upgrades. He is currently working as a Consultant at a major UK Utilities company working on two major Debt Manager Projects.
With over 15 years experience in the Financial Services sector, Stuart has covered all areas of collections and recoveries including process re-engineering and policy creation. Stuart has extensive experience in Debt Manager (DM) as an analyst, developer and in support for over 5 years. Stuart has a track record of responding positively to challenges which helps to ensure effective solution implementation.
Adarsh has over 3 years experience working in various areas of the financial services sector as developer, tester and analyst. He has extensive experience of Fair Isaacs Debt Manager in Financial services and Utilities, including design of interfaces on a major Debt Manager upgrade project at one of the biggest banks based in UK. Smart working and dedicated, Adarsh focuses on analysis, design and implementation of solutions through the whole development life cycle with inclination towards efficiency and re-usability, most recently specialising in the Credit Management sector.
With a wide range of IT skills, including Fair Isaacs Debt Manager (DM), Matthew is an enthusiastic and engaging member of the Arum team. Matthew has experience of all areas of the software development lifecycle from business analysis to testing and documentation and ensures that business customers are kept at ease and have confidence in his ability to deliver the business objective.
Simon, a recent business IT graduate brings a variety of IT skills to the company. He also has good communication skills and is able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. As a member of the Arum team, Simon has been involved in all areas of the software development lifecycle and has experience in Fair Isaacs Debt Manager (DM).
