We Are Recruiting – Bookkeeper Full-time role (Maternity Cover – up to 12 months)
Arum is a boutique consultancy boasting a blue-chip customer base including global banking groups; major financial services organisations; debt collection agencies; business process outsourcers; solicitors; utility and telecoms companies; the technology sector; social enterprises and business start-ups.
We’re looking to hire a bookkeeper to join our Corporate Services Team. Reporting to the Financial Controller & Head of Corporate Services, you’ll be responsible for ensuring financial records are fully maintained and updated and are ready for audit purposes. The successful candidate will be comfortable with all-round bookkeeping duties up to trial balance.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Purchase and Sales Ledger management
- Processing of staff expenses, time and time sheets
- Bank Lodgements and Bank Payment Posting
- Entering of journals
- Credit Control
- Preparation of ad hoc reports
- General office tasks when required
- HR Administration
You’ll have 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package and preferably have some experience of NetSuite (although training will be provided).
In addition, you will be customer focused with an eye for detail and ability to work to strict deadlines. You will also be able to work with a degree of autonomy and be able to manage and prioritise your own workload.
