Thames Water – Debt Management Transformation Case Study

Thames Water Case Study Final

With 15 million customers, the aim of the UK’s largest water and wastewater services provider, Thames Water, was to become best in class in water collections, taking their bad debt charge as a percentage of turnover from 3.3% to 2.4% by the end of 2020.

Recognising that to achieve tens of millions of pounds of benefits, a step change was required. Thames Water undertook a Credit and Collections Transformation Programme (CCT) with the help of Arum.
