Arum Group Director of Debt Policy and Strategy awarded honorary Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management

Steve Coppard FCICM, Arum’s Group Director of Debt Policy and Strategy, has been awarded an honorary Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), following decades of work changing perceptions and raising the standards of the debt industry.

Fellow FCICM status of the CICM recognises a select group of senior credit management and collections professionals who are profession leaders. Fellows of the CICM are committed to promoting and sharing the highest credit management and collections standards.

Sue Chapple FCICM, Chief Executive of the CICM, commented, “I am delighted to welcome Steve as an honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. This award recognises passionate, committed ambassadors of CICM, our wonderful industry and everyone who works in it. The Institute considers it important that eminent people for the wider business community are recognised in this way.”

Steve Coppard added, "I've long been an advocate of professional standards in our industry, so it is a genuine privilege to have been recognised by such a prestigious organisation as the CICM. Professionalisation is the bedrock of improvement and an investment in our people, practices and culture. I look forward to strengthening that message as an honorary Fellow of the Institute."
